About Us
The Vagabond MC is a Merseyside based club with about 60 members of all ages.
We own our own hut, "Pant-y-Fron", which is situated in beautiful
surroundings in the Llanberis Pass at the foot of Snowdon.
The Vags have weekly meets every Tuesday evening throughout the year. In
winter these meets are held at the local climbing walls (usually The Awesome
Walls, Liverpool and The North West Face, Warrington) but in the summer
we get out to the local crags (eg. Llanferres, Maeshavn, Pex Hill, Wilton,
Helsby etc.). Check out the 'Diary' page for an up-to-date list of upcoming
meets.
Weekend meets for rock and ice climbing are held through the year at various
locations around the country as well as trips further afield. In the past
these have included Spain, Fontainbleu, Lundy Island and the Alps. We also
hold novice meets to give everyone opportunities to improve their skills.
Pant y Fron is busy most weekends of the year and is also booked out to different
clubs and organisations. At the moment the club is in the process of applying
for a lottery grant to improve the facilities at Pant y Fron.
New members are always welcome (novices and experienced alike) with membership
open to anyone of 18 years and over. Come and join us for a few evenings (Tuesdays)
and get to know a few members. You will then be elected to Prospective Membership
for 6 months followed by Full Membership.
