Arthur: Who should I bump into in that social epicentre Tesco's last week but Mike Parr, the Llanberis Gazette as he was famously known in the Vags of the 60s and 70s. He wishes to be remembered to all of his ilk. Mike is now a superactive DJ at various destinations on either end of the M62, specialising in salsa, mambo, latin and jazz. He can be found at www.thelatinexperience.info

2010-04-09 13:15:01

2010-04-08 08:54:53
Steve B: love to make it (campin or otherwise) but can't Fran...so much to do there...or just see if sticky boots are makin the grades easier or age harder...or it balances out!

2010-04-06 23:09:09
Fran: Re Tremadog- as the weather has craaped out a bit since the amazing dry March, enthusiasm for camping may have waned.
Please let me now if you are panning to attend and whether you would like to camp or use the hut...we will go with the majority vote!

Tony: Was there recently and there is a ban on red wall despite there being no sign of nesting this year. There is a notice but still a party went on it. My thoughts are that the bolting of the foreigner wall was prob a bad move, correct me if i am wrong but its not such a good wall and offers sport climbing at lower grades, and as we have seen before in Dali's Hole it just gets hammered with people. I guess this has pissed off the locals and the Warden who has threatened to remove all bolts !
If we still want to climb there we best try and keep them happy....SSSI it just an old Quarry.

Fran: Also hint of trouble about access at Llannymynech- please read short article on BMC website.
