Ali: Please can you all have a think about Meets for 2010 (full year not just summer). So far we've got LLAMFF (me), Arran (Iain), Fairhead (Kevin), Cloogy (Chris), Peak (SteveB).
The meets this year have been very lively, with maybe a dozen at Gower & Pembroke, two dozen in the Lakes & at Gogarth plus the millions who went to Lundy so you can be confident that if you organise something it your efforts will be well appreciated.
I'll be looking for ideas / volunteers when I return from my hols.

SteveM: Fantastic photos from Mark and interesting to see what Steve Grove can climb when all his legs are working.

2009-09-22 11:51:47
Bridget: Not sure how long the virus lasts, it was never that bad with me, but I'm still not right. It was a great trip and a huge thanks to Chris for organising the biggest club meet I've known.
Mark took me Chris and Bry to Sharpnose point on Sunday (kind of on the way back). Interestingly out of all the exposure on Lundy descents I wasn't prepared for this place where you climb on these fins of rock. Well worth a visit.

Ali: Have added some pictures that Mark G sent me from the Pembroke Meet - Thanks Mark.

Sorry to hear you guys were ill - How long does the virus last, did you still get reasonable time climbing in?

2009-09-21 19:34:19
SteveM: Hi Matt...I've emailed your login details to your old Shell email address. If you don't get it can you let me know your current address?

Yes, almost all of us got the noravirus. It was very unpleasant but only managed to cast a shaddow on an excellent week in perfect sunshine on Lundy.

Soon we'll be getting login details out to everyone so you can upload photos, view membership list online and update your own contact details. In the meantime if anyone wants to upload photos just leave a message here and we'll get an account set up for you. Cheers.

Neil: Mark - I have lost your phone no so not been in touch - text us 07951 027846

Marka: Not that lucky, had a text from Steve G and half of them are down with Norovirus. Sounds like a repeat of the 2007 outbreak there.

Phil B: Hi Matt good to hear from you. A very large contingent of Vags, about 30, are on Lundy this week. Lucky sods it seems like they have chosen the only dry week this year.
Weather has been a real mix of rain and sun, usually on the same day with no settled periods until now. Ali and me have been mainly trad climbing this year with lots of weekends away in our vw camper. Ali also has a new job and is working in Italy this week.
Yes, you do need a password to upload, I'm sure Steve will sort on return from Lundy.
Any plans for a trip back to UK?
